Calculating in dates is always fucked up. If he gets a new ban, than Admin(s) are wrong.
Your discussing should be: Is he allowed to play the 16th or 15th of January?
If you think of it, he should be banned the 15th of January as well. Now he returned after 6months -1 day. Because the 15th is also calculated in the 6months ratio.
UNLESS it's not 'up to and including' (don't know how to translate this exactly, but I guess you'll know what I mean?). If it's just untill than he can play the 15th of January. If it's 'up to and including' then he should be banned, and the ban should be extended.
