Server Access
Under the old GamesTV.org there was sometimes a need to allow more than one person to control your Broadcast server. This involved each person defining the server under their own profile.
This meant that when anything changed in the server definition each and every person would have to change the server in their own profile!
In the new GamesTV.org we have implemented Server ownership which basically means the server is defined by the owner once and certain rights can be given to more users.
To explain this I will show you an example of giving Usage Rights to another user.
To give either Admin or Usage Rights to another trusted user simply choose which rights you want to give and enter their username into the search box and click the search symbol.
From the list select the correct user.
And then click SAVE
Also on the Server Edit page there is a section to upload a personalised logo for your server.
** Note 48x48 is the maximum size and No Offensive logos are to be used! **
You will now see a summary screen of your server.
There is a summary of your server info.
A list of any upcoming broadcasts on your server (See below on how to add your server to a match).
And you can see the rights of each user in the Server User section
Now you have defined your broadcast server lets see how you add it to an Event.
Select the Event you want to broadcast and scroll down the page to the Broadcasted by section.
Here you will see a list of any broadcast servers already signed up to broadcast and underneath you should see Add broadcast Servers with your servers listed.
Select one or more servers or click the Add this server icon next to the server you want to use.
