Frequently Asked Questions » Embedding Video Streams
Outline
You can integrate all Twitch streams into GamesTV. GamesTV will be able to automatically fetch the live viewer statistics and peaks for these broadcasts, and embed the streams into a separate tab on the match page.
Information for Twitch streams are collected once a stream has been added to a live event.
Creating your "server" on GamesTV
Twitch streams are treated as "video servers" on GamesTV. You will first need to create a video server from the Add Video Server page.
Server Name: This represents the visible name on an event of the Twitch stream. It's usually best to just use the Twitch streamer's name.
IP / Hostname: This is the URL to the Twitch stream. Try to keep this in the simplest possible format, such as "https://www.twitch.tv/riotgames"
Slots: This is irrelevant for Twitch streams, just set it to something like "100000"
Add your "server" to an event
You will then be able to add your Twitch stream to events which you have access to. These will usually be events that you have created or events you have been granted permission to add your stream to.
If you're lacking the ability to add streams to everywhere you need to, raise a ticket and we will assess granting you more access.
