Frequently Asked Questions » Requesting Coverage
To ensure that your coverage request is accepted and to save valuable time please read through this guide on how to submit a coverage request.
1. Game
Select the Game from the drop down list.
2. League
Select the League for that game that the match is part of.
** If the League does not exist and you feel it should then contact an Admin to have it added. Otherwise choose Miscellaneous. **
3. Teams
You MUST enter both of the correct teams at time of request! No TBA's! Also once entered the team names cannot be changed so any change in the match will need a new request!
Choosing the teams, enter the team name or at least enough of it and then hit the search key. If the name is unique enough the team will be entered or a list of matching teams will be presented if the team exists in the database.
Repeat this for the 2nd team
If a team you want to enter is not on the database you will be presented with a form to fill in the following information:-
Name - The full name of the clan
Tag - The in-game tag the clan plays under
Country - The country the clan is registered in (for the flag)
Homepage - The web address of the clans homepage in the form http://www.clan.com
** Note if there is no homepage leave this field blank please! **
IRC - The IRC channel for the clan (enter without the leading #)
Once that is done you should have something like this at the top of the request form:-
4. Match Details
Date and Time.
Select the date and time of the match noting that the time you select is in your local timezone!
If for some reason the date and time are not yet known you can select Unscheduled by ticking the box

Broadcast Type
Official Broadcast - The normal fully supported match. (For full explanation read the notes on the request)
List only Broadcast - When you need to list a match on GamesTV.org that you are organing everything for yourself, ie matchserver, ettv broadcaster etc.
No ETTV's can be added besides you own to a list only match!
Management
This is the explanation of the fact that by requesting coverage of a match you undertake respnsibility to ensure all information is provided and kept upto date.
By accepting this agreement, checking the box, you sign yourself up as the manager of this match. Read this carefully!
Admin Notes
Enter in any information that is important for the admins to know.
Permissions
This informs you of the way that your request is handled after submission.
For most people it will say Your request will be reviewed by an admin
Now click proceed to submit the request!
Congratulations you have completed a request, now read the FAQ on "Managing Your Match".
Please note that depending on your user access level your match may need to be reviewed by a GamesTV admin prior to being added to "Pending broadcasts" **
