Limit the IP's ... on

You need to add a feature that should have been done years ago that limits connections per IP to ettv servers. Recently came to my attention that old spam tools can be used to connect to ETTV and fill up the server within seconds..

yeah, servers are crowded with "testX" clients in connecting state - same on the ext3 - darts game right now

though quicker match-rating growth isn't such a bad thing :D

well it was actually me testing it... just limit the ip's so it can't be done

Its not like we never thought about that, and I might be wrong but I think it used to be fixed in ettvD, dont remember how though :P Anyway, we'll discuss it |

another problem would be if these nerds connect through proxies, although gtvd has 9999 servers so theoretically a server could have almost 3000 slots, which wouldn't be a problem :)
