I recommend that people set up a global shortcut to pause-unpause if you use WinAmp to listen to shoutcasts. I've bound pause-unpause to shift+alt+s. The neat thing about this is that you can be inside the game, fullscreen, and still be able to synch the shoutcast up. So when you hear Tosspot count down, just pause it when he says "5" and then when you see 5 on your screen a few seconds later, just hit unpause.
Also, if you want to record shoutcasts, I recommend a WinAmp plugin called Streamripped.
