since a few days i got a problem.
it started after i installed mumble, (don't know if it has to do with anything)
the problem is kinda weird actually, but i'm gonna try to explain it.
when i start ET, my sound is decreased dramatically, i can't hear a thing. this is very annoying because i, as many others, play with sound.
but when i just do things on my computer, like with itunes, my volume is normal to loud.
i am using vista.
do you guys know how i can get my volume in ET back to normal?
and i already tried putting /s_volume to 1 ...
it's so weird :S

s_volume doesn't have to be 0 or 1... just set it to 5 or some higher value...

if i do that it won't have any effect

Dunno if mumble is causing this, but you could just uninstall it and try again... if it works then, something within mumble is messing with the sound-settings...
But well...no idea why its only in ET... if theres something fuxx0ring with your sound-drivers, everything should be affected by that and not only a single game... |

i already did uninstall mumble...
and still i have the same problem, so i think it's not mumble ( and i rebooted after uninstalling) |

check the volume control panel when ET is open, each process has his own slider, so it could be that the slider of ET is @ his minimum
