Everywhere people are spreading their thought about the Eurocup. Who's going to win it? Idle.ee, [flag=hu] Underscore, [flag=pl] Polewka team? Enough teams who have a chance. I'm going to take a view upon some of them. Starting today with the strong and reliable Demiurge. And what's the best place to get information from, then the clan itself. So I caught up with [flag=se] LoTiX and asked him some things about Demiurge.

- Line up:

- So who's in charge at Demiurge?

Well... we got zeni who put the team together and later on also recruited xionn and sanctity so hes "up there" checking everything we do and if we need help like when mike left hes ready to help. Other then that I guess Im the guy organizing most things, it comes naturally for me to do things like talking with other clans and also leading the team in-game. Its been so for me since I started playing ET.

- How did you find eachother?

The clan is [flag=fi] Zeni's work. He contacted me saying that he was trying to create another team. I think it was me ([flag=se] LoTiX), [flag=se] Crajsor, [flag=fi] Grip, [flag=se] Ferus and [flag=fi] kmble who he was trying to recruit at that time. Kmble never reached the private channel, Ferus was there for a while and Grip has never left it but never played any games for us either. Some time after I joined Zeni got [flag=fi] Morty and [flag=fi] Morbi interested so they joined and some time later [flag=nl] Mike / Guardian joined up. We played a few wars with mercs until [flag=fi] Torspo wanted to join and our lineup was complete. Around 3 weeks later Crajsor got bored over the lack of good teams and decided to quit. Since we needed a rifle and Queens died around the same time we recruited [flag=fi] Tiigeri.We kept this lineup for pretty long until Mike / Guardian suddenly parted private channel and showed up in another teams lineup. The lack of a full lineup made Morty lose motivation so we were inactive for a period until Zeni got [flag=fi] Sanctity and [flag=be] Xionn for the team. A bit later Morbi also lost interest in the game but now Morty was ready to play again. Now very close to our first game Sanctity decided to leave the game but as mentioned Morbi was once again ready to play for Demiurge.

- So Demiurge is mainly a mix of Finnish and Swedish players, what is [flag=be] Xionn doing there?

We asked lots of guys from the Finnish community after Mikes departure without finding anyone. Then Zeni got Xionn and Sanctity who both wanted to join up with us so of course we took them in. It’s not a major problem since we would still be talking English on comms because I don’t know a single Finnish word. :)

- What are you expecting from this Eurocup for Demiurge?

As a start I want and expect us to go through the group phase. Many has said that we got one of the easiest groups and I have to agree since we don’t have to play any of the Top 3 clans until the playoffs. I don’t know much about [flag=es] Azure Fate and even less about [flag=eu] Rewind, [flag=nl] Artificial and [flag=il] eSreal. Im quite impressed by the unexpected victory eSreal got over [flag=pl] Logitech UVM in the qualifications. And Artifical winning the OC last season and staying together since then is also something that could be hard to deal with. If we get over this first obstacle we will have our aim set on the gold. Many clans can beat us in the playoffs so we'll need lots of practice and also some luck before I can say that I belive we can take the #1 place.

- Who will be the team to beat this Eurocup?

The team you'll have to beat in order to win this season is [flag=ee] Idle.ee

- Is this a stable line up for Demiurge or are you afraid that some of them might leave in the near future?

As you can see we’ve had our deal of changes in the clan but I think most clans got even more changes, we’ve also passed the 2-week line which is pretty important for a clan. You can never say that no one will leave or anything but seeing that we’ve managed to survive this long and got a pretty good team spirit on comms I’m confident enough to say that we will survive until EC is over.

- So what will happen after this EC? Got any plans with the clan?

I think both me and most of the others want the summer free. I also move in the end of the summer and I'm not even sure I'll bring my computer. If you want to see more of me I guess you'll have to wait for a comeback in RTCW2 if it will be worth playing. Xionn is always looking for a new challenge and if there wont be any et/rtcw on quakecon he'll probably go quake4.

- Got any special things to say about Demiurge?

No. We're an ordinary clan who wants to win Eurocup, become fameous'n'shit yo.
