"TosspoT" Saw just revealed the title sponsor for next year's Crossfire Lan taking place in Holland. Chip manufacturer
Intel will support the event called
Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 that's scheduled to last from March 5th to 7th featuring a 5vs5
Enemy Territory tournament, a
Quake Live community competition and most probably a 5vs5
Call of Duty 4 tournament (it's up to the community to decide what CoD game will be chosen). Prize money for ET was said to be around 5.000 that will be paid out right at the end of the event. It remains to be seen whether the new sponsor also means a higher prize purse. Considering the Call of Duty 4 community gets their game to CIC7 they can expect an equal amount of money for their tournament (depending on sign up numbers).
