READ FOR CONSOLES: Our Battlefield 3 Scrim Finder is currently only for the PC. To have Battlefield 3 supported on the 360 and PS3, sign your clan up to the following form http://gamersportal.com/scrims/request/1673/battlefield3 Spread the word, the more console clans show support, the faster we will add Xbox 360 and PS3!![/u]

What are scrims/practice clan wars? This is for anyone who wants a more organized game than joining a random public server. Scrims (aka clan wars) are practice matches against other teams; stats are not recorded and everyone plays to have a good time. If you are interested, Gamers Portal hosts 2 official scrim nights a week on Sundays and Wednesdays, starting @ 8 p.m EDT.Note:[/u] Scrims happen everyday, official scrim nights are just a way to guarantee your team gets one. What is Gamers Portal? To put it bluntly, it's a site for gamers with a social backbone. We are in alpha, and if you would like to see it for yourself, feel free to register @ http://gamersportal.com/account/register?RegistrationCode=bf3event
Why build Scrim Finder? It is very difficult for teams, or anyone, to play an organized game as there is nowhere to go for this. Our system, and the web in general, offers a low-barrier to entry for newcomers and veterans alike. It's free, easy-to-use and allows enough flexibility to choose WHO you play against and WHAT you want to play (conquest, squad rush, etc).
-Specifically, our system offers several advantages:
-The days of spamming requests are over. Set a post, and you have a live request for 15 mins.
-Stale (older) requests are automatically removed. This ensures requests you see are in fact active.
-You can set teams as favorites, so their requests come up to the top.
-Transparency. Since all teams are required to be registered on GP, you have a better idea of who youre playing against.

Requirements to use the Scrim Finder There are 2 simple requirements needed in order to use the Scrim Finder.
1) Be a part of a clan on Gamers Portal Creating a clan is FREE on Gamers Portal, and quite literally takes 8 seconds.[/u]
2) That clan must have the game you are trying to get scrims for, added to their games list (In this case, Battlefield 3)
Note: You do NOT need a full squad in your clan in order to get a scrim (all you need is 1 person)[/u]
If you are Interested Gamers Portal hosts 2 official scrim nights a week on Sundays and Wednesdays, starting @ 8 p.m EDT.
This scrim system is very very easy to use. We spent a lot of time ensuring it is. Give it a shot, enjoy some games, and keep in mind that we are ALWAYS open to feedback, so please feel free to give us suggestions, as many others already have. Thank you to everyone who has given us support and for those who believe in what we are trying to do. See you folks there![/i][/u]
