Better late than never, some say. Quakecon, possibly the most important and influential LAN known to man, have been counting their chickens in previous months in an attempt to ensure that Enemy Territory was again the right choice for their upcoming Dallas tournament.However, following the recent announcement that Enemy Territory would not only be involved, but would hold a $30,000 prize bounty; Crossfire came in with a plan. TosspoT announced he will donate $100 from the site's advertising revenue to the team that makes it to Quakecon through Crossfire's Quakecon appeal. The plea, which calls on users of Crossfire to donate money, hopes to raise an estimated €5000 in a matter of weeks to send a specially selected team to the competition in August.While Crossfire has not pre-determined which team would be selected nor has it made the selection process clear the road seemingly opens up for those teams that have the ambition but not the cash.
