After Crossfire announced a two-day LAN in Rotterdam earlier this week, interest grew rapidly with Crossfire's website taking more than 2,000 new unique visitors by the end of the week. Now, the chance to apply teams to the upcoming qualifier rounds for the Crossfire LAN has opened up.
The qualifier round will begin following the team announcement on Sunday 23rd July. Contrary to popular belief, the ET qualifiers and the tournament itself will be played in the standard 6v6 style using the ESL & Crossfire config which removes the mortar and MG42 classes. With fixed maps of supplydepot2 and radar for ET and Toujane for CoD2, teams are guaranteed to be offered an equal chance of claiming their position in the final list of teams that will participate in the LAN in September.
For the full rundown on the registration announcement, check out Crossfire.
And of course, GAMESTV.ORG will offer full coverage alongside Radio iTG for the qualifier events. Stay tuned!
