The ESL announced some minitues ago, their first season of the International Premiership Series.
The following games were picked up because of their activity and recent achivements:
Counter-Strike: Source (4000â¬)
Unreal Tournament 2004 (1500â¬)
Warcraft 3 (1500â¬)
Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (1000â¬)
Enemy Territory (1500â¬)
Fifa06 (2000â¬)
Community Game (1000â¬)
As you can see, the ESL offers you a total amount of 12500⬠Prizemoney for the up coming season. Next to the other games, there is a different system ET uses to give every clan the chance, to compete in the cup.
How it works
The Premiership is a league system we used for the groupstages in the past. This time, we will have 2 stages in the main cup.
The first stage will be filled with 16 teams in 4 groups. The best two of each group will continue to the final stage. After this, there is another Premiership of 8 teams (1 group) coming up where every clan has to play each other to finish under the first 3. The 1.500⬠will be distributed on this 3 clans.
How to get a slot in the first stage
There are no, I repeat: no, direct invites for this cup. We will accept clans that competed in the ESL cups and events offered by our partners, who will be published soon. All in all, we have 4 Slots offered from other events out of the ESL.
We are running the 6on6 FFA Summer Cup with 48 teams at the moment. The best teams will get a slot (max 3).
In the upcoming week, we will invite 10 teams for the official qualifier cup. 6 Slots of the cup will be open free for all, so everyone can sign up. The best 4 teams will gain a slot in the upcoming IPS.
This cup is running in the european area and you can get your team up and running now to join the cup in the esl within the next days.
Next to the european cups, we will run a national 6on6 Cup in Germany and Czech Republic. 4 Teams of this cups will be able to play the main cup.
The slots will be spent on active teams only. This means clans like idle will not get any preference or direct invite.
The first qualifier cup was announced earlier today, 8 czech and 16 german teams can sign up now:
- Official IPS Website
- International Qualifiers
- German IPS Qualifier
- Czech IPS Qualifier
